I am entrepreneur with dedications on Tourism sector with particular interests on accommodation facilities, mountain climbing and safari business in Tanzania and East Africa at large. I officially founded a company called ZARA tours in 1987. I have been socially responsible about the impacts of Tourism activities and have developed my business around sustainable development practices and I strongly believe and practice giving back to the community. MOSHI, KILIMANJARO, TANZANIA:  The Universities Providers Worldwide (UPW) in collaboration with Moshi Cooperative University and IBF/Africa has organized a "Public Lecturer" at Moshi Cooperative University on "Tourism as an Integral Part of Tanzanian Economy". Public lectures are part of college and public education and it will be given by Madame Zainab Ansel on January 29, 2015.  The lecture would highlight Ms. Ansel's resounding 28 years experienced as an entrepreneur in the tourism industry as the Managing Director of   ZARA Tanzania Adventures   and former Air Tanzania staff.  We expect the issue of Sports Tourism to be exploited fully and graduates to be sensitise about the benefits of engaging in the tourism sector after the completion of their college degrees. The North Carolina native, Macon Dunnagan, continues to prove that age is not a factor as he did his 35th climb to the “Roof of Africa”, Tanzania’s Mt Kilimanjaro, and the world’s tallest freestanding mountain at 5,895m above the Sea level (19,341 feet) where he claims to ‘bury’ the remains of his late wife! Recently, he broke a record for making the most Kilimanjaro summits in one month when he climbed four times in 28 days. In year 2014,  ZARA Tanzania Adventures  has been able to exponentially expand its reach and give back to community to thousands of people across our country through  ZARA Charity  in many ways. On behalf of all the people, partners and volunteers who  positively impacted by our message and resources, thank you to our supportive clients and sponsors for helping to provide malaria awareness (Project  Ngorongoro Marathon ), education (Project Ngorongoro Maasai Pre-School ), and hope to those in need through  Kilimanjaro Orphanage Center  in Moshi and others. Our goal for 2015 year-beginning campaign, is to  raise $40,000  to cover running and operational cost for 45 enrolled Maasai kids at  Ngorongoro Pre-school .
